Poet, activist visit canceled at UHV

Due to a death in the family, Washington, D.C.-based poet and activist E. Ethelbert Miller’s Friday visit to the University of Houston-Victoria has been canceled.

Miller was scheduled to be the final speaker in the UHV American Book Review Fall Reading Series. It is not known if his talk will be rescheduled.

The author sits on several boards and actively promotes American letters and social justice.
