jaX, UHV education faculty host open house in Katy


Students from Houston Community College Northwest in Katy take part in a University of Houston-Victoria School of Education & Human Development open house on Tuesday with jaX the Jaguar and university faculty. Students who participated in the “Game On! Teaching in the 21st Century” open house played a variety of commercial, teacher-made and digital games that can be used in the classroom to reinforce educational concepts. UHV offers a number of classes at the HCC Katy campus. Summer and fall class registration opens April 15.
