School district honors UHV with award
|Fred Litton, back row left, dean of the University of Houston-Victoria School of Education & Human Development, and other university faculty, staff and students are recognized Nov. 21 by Robert Jaklich, front row left, superintendent of Victoria Independent School District, school board members and Stroman Middle School staff. UHV was honored at the board meeting with the You Make a Difference Award for November because of its partnership with Stroman Middle School. Faculty and students from the UHV School of Education & Human Development tutor Stroman students and work with teachers at the school on methods to bolster academic performance.|
