“Trent is a hard thrower who should log a lot of innings for us,” Puhl said. “He is very competitive and intelligent and has tremendous upside.”

Catcher Robert Peterson played the past two seasons at El Paso Junior College.

In 110 career games at El Paso, The Houston Christian graduate, batted .312 with 17 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs and 76 runs batted in. Defensively, Peterson threw out 44 % of would be base stealers.
