UHV students donate $3,320 to fight hunger

University of Houston-Victoria students and staff members present a $3,320 check Tuesday to Robin Cadle, front row third from left, Food Bank of the Golden Crescent president and CEO. The check was given to the Food Bank after UHV students decided to donate meals from their meal plans to Food Fight, a university Student Life initiative that took place during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The meals were then converted into dollars by the university. A total of 183 students donated 830 meals as part of the Food Fight.
