UHV honor society presents donations to nonprofit organization

| University of Houston-Victoria Gamma Beta Phi honor society Treasurer Alexandra Corbin, left, and President Erin Gabrysch, right, meet with Hilary Lucas from Hospice of South Texas at the annual Lassoing Loving Care Benefit in Edna. Gamma Beta Phi members presented Lucas with donations valued at $235 from Victoria businesses. These donations were used for silent and live auctions at the event. Gamma Beta Phi is made up of academically excellent students who promote education and provide community service to their colleges and communities. Upcoming service projects include assisting local churches with the distribution of Easter baskets. |
