UHV signs 2 more softball players from Galveston College

Jaguars head coach Keri Lambeth has announced the signing of utility player Cirby Ryan and pitcher Lindsey Ferguson to play collegiate softball with the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars.

Ryan was named to the All-Region team and ranked second on the Lady Whitecaps in home runs, had the third best batting average and ranked third in runs batted in.

"Cirby has speed, power and can hit for average too," said Lambeth. "She will be an impact player and has the ability to be one of the top players in the NAIA."

Ferguson was team captain at Galveston College and was the number 2 pitcher on a team that was a win away from advancing the NJCAA World Series.

"Lindsey is a very solid pitcher," said Lambeth. "She can mix her pitches and keep hitters off balance."
