UHV Anticipates Normal Operations in Victoria, Sugar Land and Cinco Ranch During Tropical Storm

With Hurricane Humberto moving to the north and east, operations will continue without interruption at University of Houston-Victoria, University of Houston System at Sugar Land, and University of Houston System at Cinco Ranch.
UPDATE: September 12, 2007 5:31 p.m.
Because Tropical Storm Humberto is predicted to create severe weather primarily along the East Texas coast, UHV classes will be held tonight in Victoria, Sugar Land and Cinco Ranch.
UH Central and UH Clear Lake campuses will close from 5 p.m. tonight, so there is a possiblity classes taught by UH and Clear Lake instructors might be cancelled.
The university anticipates operating normally on Sept. 13 in each location. The storm will be monitored throughout the night, and further announcements will be issued as needed.
