State senator gives presentation to UHV political science classes


State Sen. Lois Kolkhorst gives a presentation Wednesday to students during a University of Houston-Victoria political science course. Kolkhorst spoke to two sessions of the “Texas State and Local Government” course and answered questions from students. Some of her topics were the difference between the Texas Legislature and U.S. Congress, her decision to run for the Texas Senate, the importance of getting an education and being a leader who serves.
