UH System student regent pays visit to UHV

Neelesh “Neel” Mutyala, left, the 2017-2018 student representative on the University of Houston System Board of Regents, stands for a photo Friday with UHV President Vic Morgan and Alvaro De La Cruz, 2017-2018 UHV Student Government Association president. Mutyala is a junior at UH majoring in biomedical sciences with a minor in education. He will begin his one-year term on the Board of Regents Thursday. During his trip to Victoria Friday, Mutyala met with Morgan, De La Cruz and other UHV leaders. He also was given a tour of campus and the residence halls. “It’s was nice to discuss the history of the university, where UHV is today and the future plans for the university,” he said. “It’s interesting to see how education is evolving here.”
