UHV presents alumni awards at UHV alumni banquet during Homecoming week


UHV alumna Tenna Thompson, center, receives the 2018 UHV Distinguished Alumna Award on Friday from UHV President Vic Morgan, left, and Jesse Pisors, vice president for advancement and external relations. The award was presented to Thompson, a 1981 graduate, at the UHV Alumni Banquet during Homecoming week. About 140 alumni and their guests attended and heard updates from Morgan, a review of alumni engagement in 2017 and plans for 2018 from Kira Mudd, UHV director of alumni relations and annual giving. The event also featured door prizes, a photo station and a show after the banquet by a magician and comedian.
