UHV fits student’s needs


Michael Gonzales Jr., a senior at Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, decided to join the FIRST 200 because the University of Houston-Victoria met two of his key needs.

“It was close to my family, and the tuition suited my financial situation,” he said.

Gonzales plays football and serves as the president of DECA, an organization for high school students interested in business and marketing.

Gonzales plans to major in business.
