“Scarborough High School in Houston is a small school, so I’m used to small classes,” the high school senior said. “UHV seems like an interesting school. I’d like to be one of the FIRST 200.”

Aguinaga has been accepted to attend UHV in the fall and would like to major in criminal justice. She eventually wants to be a canine trainer for a police department.

“I’ve always lived around dogs, and I’ve always liked adventure,” she said.

Aguinaga has been involved with softball and ROTC at her high school. She is interested in playing softball at UHV.
