Teachers and Technology Come together at Conference Hosted by UHV
The University of Houston-Victoria (UHV), in conjunction with the Area III Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), will host the 2005 Educational Technology Mini Conference at UHV on Friday, November 11, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Conference participants will be able to choose from several breakout sessions on topics ranging from “Using Technology to Enhance Teaching” to “Spyware, Scams and Other Online Hazards.” The event will feature a keynote address on the future of educational technology and will culminate with an address from Dr. John Stansell, dean of the School of Education and Human Development at UHV.
Continuing professional education credits will be available to conference attendees, and door prizes, including two Try UHV Scholarships, will be given away.
