For the third consecutive year, the University of Houston-Victoria Sports Information Department has been recognized for its work by the College Sports Information Directors of America and the NAIA Sports Information Directors Association.

UHV Sports Information Specialist Paul Ebner and marketing graphic designer George Rodriguez were recognized by CoSIDA at its annual convention in June in the organization’s publication’s contest.

The two were recognized for Best Cover for Single Sports Program for the College Division. The entry included copies of the Jaguars’ three game-day programs for soccer, baseball and softball.

“It’s always a great honor to be recognized by your peers,” said Ebner. “We have a great working relationship with our marketing department and George does a super job working with us on our many graphic projects.”

In the past, the UHV sports information department has been recognized with awards for Multi-Sport Schedule Card design, schedule poster design and work on its media guides for baseball, softball and soccer.

“The quality of work produced by Paul Ebner and George Rodriguez and the rest of the marketing team we work with is unsurpassed,” said UHV Athletics Director Ashley Walyuchow. “I think the goes to show how well our departments work together. I’m proud of the recognition they bring athletics and UHV.”
