UHV president receives congressional recognition

University of Houston-Victoria President Vic Morgan, right, reads over a Certificate of Congressional Recognition presented to him March 10 by U.S. Rep. Blake Farenthold. The certificate was in honor of Morgan’s promotion from interim president to president of the university. This was made official by a Feb. 18 vote of the UH System Board of Regents. As part of his visit to Victoria, Farenthold met with Morgan and toured the new UHV University North building.
