Professor receives plaque for years of service.
|Mel Damodaran, left, a professor of math and computer science at the University of Houston-Victoria, and his wife, Padmini, hold a plaque he received from the School of Arts & Sciences for his nearly 20 years of service at the university. Damodaran was the only computer science faculty member at UHV when he started in 1991, and there are now six full-time computer science and math faculty members. Damodaran will work part time at UHV next school year and plans on retiring in the spring of 2011.|
