UHV Jaguar Hall residents safe during police chase
An incident occurred outside the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguar Hall, 2705 Houston Highway, shortly after midnight.
Individuals fleeing Victoria police after an armed robbery down the street drove into the Jaguar Hall parking lot near the front entrance. From there, they left their vehicle and ran around the exterior of the building to jump the fence behind the residence hall. Victoria police were on site at the time of the incident.
All entrances to Jaguar Hall were locked and remained locked since it was after midnight. Residents were safe inside Jaguar Hall, and the suspects never entered the building.
