UHV cancels classes, closes university
All University of Houston-Victoria classes and events that start after 2:30 p.m. Thursday are canceled, and the university will close at 5 p.m. due to the inclement weather conditions.
Canceled classes and events include all UHV face-to-face, Interactive Television and online classes, and scheduled events in Victoria, Sugar Land and Cinco Ranch. Classes and events also are canceled on Friday. All classes will resume at all locations on Saturday unless a further delay is necessary.
The university will close at 5 p.m. Thursday for the safety of its employees and will re-open at 1 p.m. Friday with limited services available.
