UHV Hosts First Thirsty Thursday of the Fall Semester
The University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) will host the first Thirsty Thursday event of the 2005-06 academic year at Tejas Café Thursday, September 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Area community members are invited to join UHV alumni, students, faculty and staff at the event, which will feature complimentary appetizers, a cash bar and several door prizes, including two tickets to the upcoming University of Houston homecoming game. The event will be broadcast live by local radio station Q92 (92.3FM).
Held bimonthly, Thirsty Thursdays serve as opportunities for UHV graduates to network with other alumni and for current students to make future professional contacts. The events also allow community members to learn more about UHV in an informal setting.
