UHV Celebrates New Semester at Off the Clock
Community members are invited to join University of Houston-Victoria students, alumni, faculty and staff as they celebrate the start of spring classes at the next Off the Clock with UHV. The event will be held at Greek Brothers Restaurant from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, and will feature karaoke and live musical performances by UHV professors.
While at Off the Clock, attendees can sign up to win door prizes, snack on complimentary appetizers, take a turn at the karaoke microphone or just enjoy the show. A cash bar will be available.
“Our last ‘musical’ Off the Clock was really lively and a lot of fun,” said alumni relations specialist Sarah May. “When it came time to plan a kickoff for this semester, we knew exactly what we wanted to do. I’m sure everyone will have a good time.” Off the Clock is an opportunity for UHV graduates to network with other alumni in Victoria, as well as a chance for students to make future business contacts and for community members to learn more about UHV in an informal setting.
UHV hosts Off the Clock events bi-monthly. Opportunities for sponsorship are available. For more information contact Sarah May at (361) 570-4363, or to RSVP, call (361) 570-4345.
