Basketball Fans Get a Lift from UHV
On Saturday, February 17, the University of Houston-Victoria will take 50 fans to attend the University of Houston’s basketball game against the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers. Tickets for the event cost $10 and include transportation to and from the game, as well as light snacks and beverages served on the bus. Students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university are all invited to attend. Tickets, however, are limited.
“There’s nothing like sitting in the stands, cheering on your team at a basketball game. It’s a great part of the collegiate experience,” said Sarah May, alumni relations specialist. “We’re pleased to make this opportunity available to UHV friends and family.”
The bus will begin loading at 12:45 p.m. in the UHV special events parking lot off of Ben Wilson. The game begins at 5 p.m. Immediately following the game’s end, the bus will depart for Victoria.
