Dr. Christopher Avery to Present “Responsibility Redefined” at UHV

The University of Houston-Victoria and the Leadership Institute will host a half-day workshop presented by Dr. Christopher Avery titled “Responsibility Redefined” on July 26. This event will be held in the UHV Multi-Purpose Room in the University Center Building. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The workshop begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. The cost is only $39.

In his presentation, Avery reveals the actual, proven mental mechanism by which people avoid or take responsibility in life and work. And he shows exactly how to learn, accelerate, and master the process with the Keys to Responsibility™.

“Responsibility Redefined”—research-based, inspiring, straight-talk about personal performance, success, and fulfillment—is ideal for leaders, professionals, general business and anyone intent on making the most out of life, work and relationships.

Avery is the author of “Teamwork is an Individual Skill: Getting Your Work Done When Sharing Responsibility,” and he is also an internationally recognized speaker on responsible teamwork, leadership and change.

"This workshop provides an excellent opportunity to gain new leadership perspective and skills,” said Dr. Margaret Rice, UHV executive assistant to the president. “I look forward to attending and appreciate Alcoa Foundation's generous support which allows UHV to offer this outstanding workshop at an affordable price."
