UHV announces weather closures in Greater Houston
University of Houston-Victoria administrators have announced that the University of Houston Sugar Land, the University of Houston System at Cinco Ranch and the Houston Community College Katy Campus will be closed on Tuesday.
At this time, the main UHV campus in Victoria remains open. UHV offers many of the classes available at UH Sugar Land, the UH System at Cinco Ranch and HCC Katy.
A decision about any Wednesday closures will be made later in the day. Updates will be posted at www.uhvemergency.info.
The University of Houston-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 80 academic programs in the schools of Arts & Sciences; Business Administration; and Education, Health Professions & Human Development. UHV provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as an instructional site in Katy, Texas, and online classes that students can take from anywhere.
