“We invite everyone to come out to the zoo for this event to see and hear about the zoo’s new addition and UHV’s involvement,” UHV Interim President Vic Morgan said.
The event will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m. inside the Texas Zoo in Riverside Park, 110 Memorial Drive. Morgan will make a special announcement, and jaX, UHV’s jaguar mascot, will be on hand to greet the public and take photos.
The first 250 people in attendance will be given a free prize after the announcement.
The Texas Zoo is offering discounted admission during the event. The cost will be $3 per person with children ages 2 and younger getting in free.
