Jaguars Softball Debuts in Houston

The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team will take the field for the first time ever in Houston on Saturday October 6.

The Jaguars will compete in the Southbelt College Round Robin tournament and will play against NCAA and junior college competition.

The Jaguars began fall practice the day after Labor Day and this will be the first games for the new program.

“The girls have been working very hard this fall and are excited to play in some games,” said UHV head softball coach Keri Lambeth. “The caliber of competition at this tournament is high so this will be a good test for our team.”
