Princeton Review rates UHV School of Business Administration One of the Best for Minorities, again
The Princeton Review—known for it college rankings based on how students rate their schools—this week released the 2008 edition of its annual business school guidebook which also features rankings uniquely based on student surveys. "Best 290 Business Schools" has 11 ranking lists of top 10 schools in various categories from "Best Professors" to "Best Career Prospects."
The Princeton Review compiled the lists based on its surveys of 19,000 students attending the 290 business schools in the book, and on school-reported data.
According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review vice president for publishing, "We compile our ranking lists in multiple categories based on what students report to us about their schools to help applicants decide which of these academically outstanding schools is best for them."
UHV President Tim Hudson was pleased with the announcement. "Increasing student diversity in graduate business programs bodes well for the future economic well-being of both our region and the state. It''s exciting to know that the UHV School of Business Administration is on the leading edge of such an important trend."
In the book's profile on UHV, the Princeton Review editors describe the school as having abundant degree options, noting that students can pursue a traditional MBA, a global MBA and master’s degree in economic development and entrepreneurship. International students also have the option to pursue an MBA through a fourth-year bridge program.

Student praise for the MBA program focused on online delivery, enthusiastic fellow students, and the MBA Conference, which was described as the highlight of the program. According to one student, the conference "really helps us to recapture all the concepts that we have learned throughout the program."
