UHV Hosts “Off the Clock” on January 30th
The University of Houston-Victoria will host its next “Off the Clock with UHV” networking event at the Rosebud Fountain and Grill on Monday, January 30. Community members are invited to join UHV alumni, students, faculty and staff at the event.
While at Off the Clock, attendees can sign up to win door prizes, snack on complimentary appetizers and get their pictures taken with Shasta, the cougar mascot of the University of Houston. A cash bar with beer and wine will also be available.
“We’re grateful to the Rosebud for opening its doors after normal business hours for this event,” said alumni relations specialist Sarah Simon. “And we’re excited to be able to host Off the Clock in historic downtown Victoria as a result.”
Off the Clock is an opportunity for UHV graduates to network with other alumni in Victoria, as well as a chance for students to make future business contacts and for community members to learn more about UHV in an informal setting.
UHV hosts Off the Clock events bi-monthly. For more information, contact Sarah Simon at (361) 570-4363, or to RSVP, call (361) 570-4346.
