Open tryouts set for baseball

Head coach Terry Puhl and the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars baseball team will host open tryouts for the 2008-09 baseball season on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Riverside Stadium in Victoria, Texas.

 

All prospective baseball players must have completed a minimum of 30 hours of college course work and have a minimum GPA of 2.0.

 

Eligible students interested in trying out for the Jaguars can register for the tryouts beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the tryout. The tryout will begin at 10:00 a.m.

 

Each tryout candidate is asked to bring a copy of their transcripts and will be required to sign a waiver.

 

Riverside Stadium is located at 406 Memorial Drive, Victoria, TX 77901
