Distinguished speaker discusses importance of authenticity
Todd Dewett, a speaker, author and coach, shares his experiences March 27 about the importance of authenticity in first impressions. He spoke to students, faculty, staff and community members at UHV Katy as part of the university’s School of Business Administration Distinguished Speaker Series. Dewett received his doctorate in management and shares his message with others around the globe. He encourages people to be real and learn to use their mistakes to their advantage.

The University of Houston-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 80 academic programs in the schools of Arts & Sciences; Business Administration; and Education, Health Professions & Human Development. UHV provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as an instructional site in Katy, Texas, and online classes that students can take from anywhere.
