UHV To Hold Spring Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 13th
On Saturday, May 13, the University of Houston-Victoria will recognize 225 spring graduates at a commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. on the lawn in front of the University Center building.
Dr. Sandy Venneman, UHV associate professor of psychology and biology, will serve as grand marshal. The commencement address will be given by Dr. Don Smith, whose 11-year tenure as provost at UHV has included serving as interim president three times. Students will then be invited to receive their diplomas by the school deans and will have their degrees conferred by UHS Regent Morgan Dunn O’Connor.
