Victoria perfect location for incoming college freshman
Suzanna Fuentes, a senior at A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, found Victoria to be the perfect place to go to college.
“It’s close to home but far enough away for me to be independent,” said the soon-to-be member of the FIRST 200 at the University of Houston-Victoria.
She added that she’s looking forward to attending a smaller university where she can get more one-on-one attention from her professors.
Fuentes plans on majoring in psychology.
“I just love helping people,” she said. “Someday, I want to open my own business and help teenagers who are the age I am now.”
