Victoria perfect location for incoming college freshman

“It’s close to home but far enough away for me to be independent,” said the soon-to-be member of the FIRST 200 at the University of Houston-Victoria.

She added that she’s looking forward to attending a smaller university where she can get more one-on-one attention from her professors.

Fuentes plans on majoring in psychology.

“I just love helping people,” she said. “Someday, I want to open my own business and help teenagers who are the age I am now.”
