JP’s Market stays open for UHV, VC students

University of Houston-Victoria student Tiarah Figueroa picks out canned food Wednesday at JP’s Market, located in the Jaguar Suites residence hall. JP’s Market is a food pantry for students enrolled at UHV and Victoria College. Items available include food and hygiene products, as well as clothing items. Although the food pantry typically is open on Fridays, JP’s Market opened its doors to students Wednesday to ensure they had food during spring break. Entry to JP’s Market was limited to three students at a time because of COVID-19 concerns. Starting March 27, JP’s Market will be open to students from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday. It may be open more often, depending on need.
