'Lender Relations' specialist in town Sept. 16: SBA agent to discuss stimulus, policy, markets

Cindy Solano, a Small Business Administration lead lender relations specialist, will be in Victoria on Sept. 16 to meet with finance and economic development leaders at a “Lenders Roundtable.”  

The event, sponsored by UHV’s Small Business Development Center, is set for 10:30 a.m. to noon in Room 205 of the University of Houston-Victoria University West building, 3007 N. Ben Wilson St.  

“This will be an informal roundtable to discuss SBA stimulus updates, goals, lending policy and regulation changes, and market activity,” said Jean Jurica, SBDC training coordinator.   

The format will be an open session for discussion on lending and economic topics.   

Those involved in commercial lending and economic development from the 11-county service area of the UHV SBDC are invited to attend. Counties include Aransas, Bee, Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Karnes, Lavaca, Refugio and Victoria.
